Life just made a little turn and sped up at the same time. For the first time i nearly fell asleep in my Maths lecture. This is a bad sign and I nearly broke one of my top amendments. I fed myself generously with gummy bears to stay awake. And no, this time i could not laugh out loud when biting the heads or limbs off. :(

Homework for the weekend looked like a mountain looming over me, casting a mile long shadow. Submission for the second Preliminary Ideas for Project work is to be due on tuesday and so are many other assignments. The amount of work just gets more and more with each passing week. I have to endure this and I kept telling myself that these two years will pass like the wind.

Well for tomorrow, I have an interview for the Youth For Causes project. I'll try my best :) and to God be the Glory, the best is yet to be.

Today I learnt that postponing things that should be done is really detrimental to your ,say success? In any case, today is the first day i tasted the bitterness of failure. I failed myself because i took time for granted.

The History Common Test was supposed to take place at the last block of my lessons today. However, on Sunday, my class rep asked us if we would like to skip our last lesson to support our classmate's rugby match. Hence, I did not touch my history notes at all, thinking that my test will be postponed. And of course, things always turn out differently and our class rep told us this morning that she could not attain the blue slips for dismissal from class.

I knew immediately i was in hot waters. So what can i do but to read through the stack of notes that suddenly seemed so thick. Plowing through the book, a tinge of regret and desperation still managed to hit home despite me suppressing all emotion.

Well, what good result can come off such an unprepared venture? None. I have learnt my lessons. The next History test shall be owned. I promise.

I thank God for letting me fall and through this, i understand the importance of preparing beforehand for uncertainty. It is in His Grace that i can see past my mistakes and forgive myself and rev up my motivation to do better in my upcoming History Test. Dear Lord, I can't thank you enough. Amen.

Time to study for the next test! General Paper! :)

Hands clasped. We will make it together to the endpoint which we envision. This is what i promise and believe.

Many people will think we're just one of those short lived couples who are just plain desperate for each other. All we have to do is just ignore them and love each other like we always do, proving them wrong. Do they know what we have? Do they know what we're sacrificing? Do they know what height of bliss and satisfaction being in each other's company? Do they even see a glimpse of what we see in our future? Do they see the hue of rainbow that is constantly above us? No they don't. And they don't have to. Let them speculate and we smile like idiots at them, the naysayers.

6 months will turn to a year, to a decade, to a lifetime. :) We will be one of the many aging couples walking along the beach holding hands lovingly enjoying the golden years. We will one day in our old age look back to the little notes and pictures and movie tickets that we kept in our little cake-like treasure box and reminisce the youth and beautiful memories. This i promise you.

The months to come will be difficult, with my hectic college activities taking up my time in tandem with your enlistment to National Service. We might not even meet for weeks in worst cases. But we will persevere. For each other's sake and for the future. We both know our commitments and our promises. I will uphold what i promised to you. And i trust you will too.

If i believe if there's anyone that will wait for me for a 5 years or a decade, it will only be you. That is how much i trust you and the depth of faith i have in you.

If there is more things unsaid here, i hope my little beating heart that bears your name will whisper in your ear whenever you think of me. I love you.

Howdy doodle, my dearest sister Nickid!

Firstly I shall congratulate you for coming this far in your life and still keep your perverseness. Happy Birthday to you, dear one.

As your older sister, I can only give you advices based on my experience and knowledge. When I was your age, I had always wished for an older sibling. Isn't it ironic that the eldest sibling always want to be the younger one? In any case, i know I always yearn for advice that can help me when i was still a little girl. I look up to anyone who's older than me literally. While you may be different than me, i believe there are also times when you are in doubt in the search of identity and also when you're facing a setback, be it in school or your relationships. So as your awesome and ever-understanding elder sister, i shall impart some of my maxims which i uphold religiously and has , at some points of my life, made me a better person and a person that i want to become.

1. Be happy with yourself only when you know you have given your best shot. Anything less than your best will haunt you. Literally. :) you know what i mean.

2. Jesus said "Love thy neighbour as thyself". Take this to heart. Treat others how you treat yourself.

3. Guru Chan Zhi Zhi said "PRIORITIZE". When you have one big pile of work to do, make sure you list out which one is the most important and to it first.

4. Shove away temptations. Do not do your maths and english and whatsoever homework with your laptop on and connected to the internet. You know how idle and distracted you are from your work.

5. Treat Mommy and Daddy how you want them to treat you. If you want respect, you have to earn it. If you want freedom, you have to prove that you're worth it.

6. Never argue back at Daddy and Mommy. Try this and see what a major change it can do to your mood and their mood. :) i've tried it and i know the effects.

7. Live everyday like you're dying. Not to mean it literally but you should go to bed every night feeling satisfied with your day. To achieve it would mean you giving your all into making it a day worth living. This may sound really profound and rather adult to you but you should start. :) why don't you experiment one day where you give your best shot in every SINGLE thing you do and see how elated you will feel at the end of the day. :) You will feel the euphoria and bliss fusing your mind and body with warmness. Trust me, i won't lie to you about this.

8. Last but not least, love yourself. There's no way of loving others if you do not love yourself first. :) J.K Rowling said that everyone will experience failures in their lives. What matters most is not how badly you fall but how you react to it and how you bring yourself to overcome it. In the midst of disappointments, remember that you have a family consisting ME, SAM, Mommy and Daddy and all your cousins, aunts, uncles and your big group of buddies, that loves you dearly. If you do not love yourself, you're inflicting pain onto us. So never give up and break down, discouraging yourself and hating yourself. I completely forbid you. :) Just remember what ever you do, just know we love you, for who you are and what a gem you are that owns a place deep in our hearts.

After such a long-winded nagging, I guess i can give you merit if you can read till this far. :) Be a good girl. I love you.

What a incredibly busy day. With the swift movement of God's hand, I have already careened past a day. Each day has passed with merciless tempo. Just a moment ago the Mr Sunny was greeting me "Good Morning!" and the next moment Mr Moon popped up with a solemn face reminding me to hit the sack. I sulked silently. The stickies pasted on my wall and lamp commanding me to complete my tasks. Eyelids drooping. Head rocking softly. Switches off.

I must say this, though a bit cliche, time passed very fast. Godspeed indeed, to quote my good friend. Just like that I've sat the O levels, gotten myself a boyfriend who is able to see the beauty in me [brainwashed much?], gotten my results and with God's grace, enter the prestigious college that i have eyed for since the first year i stepped onto the soil of Singapore. Now I'm no longer called an O level student, but an A level student, Pre-university student, pretty much any name that detaches the roots of secondary school. Thrown into the whirlpool of college life, I take back every complain i have about secondary school life. Free time seems to come at a cost nowadays and it forced me to treasure all those carefree livelihood in secondary school. I would gladly liken college life to a lion. The reigning feline in the forest, the lion is every bit wild and feral. However with the consent of time, even the most ferocious beast can bow down to you, if you have what it takes. And I vow to myself i will do everything i can to have that X factor.

Everyone has their new year resolution planned out at the beginning of the year. Perhaps it is still not to late to lay out mine.

Academically,

1. Pass up EVERY SINGLE tutorial given.
2. Complete EVERY assignment BEFORE deadline,
3. NEVER fall asleep in lecture.
4. ALWAYS ask questions when in doubt.
5. ALWAYS lend a hand to those that needs it.
6. ALWAYS do your best.
7. Enjoy ALL your lessons.
8. Take EVERY TEST as seriously as though you life depends on them.
9. Do CORRECTIONS.
10. Study HARD and review after EVERY CHAPTER.
11. Do NOT fail your tests on purpose. If you failed, that's because you didn't study hard enough.
12. By Mid Year, ACE your exams.
13. PWN EVERYONE else and TOP the cohort.
14. Pray to God, Do you part, and Leave the rest into the hands of God.
15. NEVER GIVE UP!

16. Make it a habit to blog every 2 days. :)

Facing the fragility of reality

Ping. A slender finger lands with a perfect staccato on the high C note on the piano. No, it does not stop there. Without pausing, it immediately skipped to another note, like a bullet train chasing after a tight schedule. If the fingers were to breathe, they would have been out of breath, perhaps some 20 minutes ago. Such was the speed and force enforced upon the black and white keys. And yet, they never stop or slow down. Like a ballerina, the fingers delicately danced and twirl endlessly. In my mind, the tune never stopped as I sink deeper into my thoughts.

The pianist, whose name i shall not name, surprised me. He never had any proper training in music. Unlike me, he did not have to liberty nor the opportunity to receive music lessons. Mind you, i had had music lessons since I was 9 and i don't think i can play half as good as him. That very fact set me thinking. I am faced by a plain fact. I have been excusing myself for every stuff which i I can't do as well as others.

Simply, take class tests as an example. I always told ot myself that its just a class test. No big deal. I can always pass it. When i get my not-so-high marks, i would just ignore it to avoid the feeling. I call that escapism. Now that it occurred to me that O level is less than 100 days away. Frankly put, i freaked out. By excusing myself all the time has made me a complacent person.

As I sat down there listening to him play, i felt ashamed of myself. Truly ashamed. He tried hard, from scratch. Me? i have been spoonfed.

Dear god, please give me strength to be a stronger person. Just like that pianist that never gave up, and is still trying hard.

It's one thing to break up with a partner who cheated. But when the feeling of affection is mutual, the pain inflicted by a break-up is multiplied many times fold.

Our relationship was a rather an unusual one. It would fall neither to the category of 'open relationship' nor 'flings'. We really cherish each other. I like him and he likes me. That simple. There was nobody else. Just him and I.

The funny thing was it wasn't a third party butting in or him cheating on me that led to the break-up. It was academic difference. Our age may only differ by a months but academically wise, it is a 3-4 years gap. I would be in a university when he graduates high school. And i can't even predict if i will still be a local university here. That's just the briefest description i can give.

People say "Love conquers all". That set me thinking if I was not giving enough faith in this relationship. What i want is future security. Unless he can provide me that, things would probably turn out differently. Just being in love does not solve the matter, does it? I thought about it over and over again if I did the right thing. This searing pain is clouding my mind to reason. There is always a first for everything and i think this is my first heartbreak, perhaps. And it is painful.

I did not cry buckets of tears because i saw it coming. But i still cried all the same. Silently. I borrowed nobody's shoulder and just let myself cry my heart out. Rivulets of tears still streamed down last night. My only consolation was if I were to let go of him later, he might hurt even more. Afterall, me hurting silently, is better than seeing him crumbling inside out.

Dear God, is this farewell? I honestly don't know.

Today there was an influx of students from China. Its probably a student exchange program. 2 were sent to spend the day with my class. The girl's name is Ye Zhi which literally translate to leaf. I nearly let my tongue slip to pronounce Ye Zhi which intones coconut. In my inner-mind theatre, i was doubling over with laughter. I probably sound mean now but no pun and offense intended. Cheers!

Class was pretty normal today. What more can you expect? Its a Monday morning and yeah, the word Monday tells it all. The blues, the yawns, the weary eyes. The lot.

I reckon this week is going to be quite busy. I ran through this week's schedule on my mind and yes, i am so NOT pleased with it. Your Highness here is not pleased! Bah!!!

Over with the melodrama, I think i should start to run on a regular basis. I can feel the fats layering. AND i should start studying seriously now. That would mean less online time.

Alright, I shall go and finish my work or i won't be able to get my beauty sleep. Which is bad for my skin. Which is bad for... everything? Sorry i ran out of words. Haha.

My eyes were like a fogged up lens of a camera when i woke up this morning. Perhaps I sat upright too quickly, my mind went groggy. Probably some time passed before I can actually think straight. I peered outside the window. The sky was rather moody today. There was a lot of cotton candy on the sky. Signs of incoming rain? Probably.

Hmm its sunday and i'm lazing in my bed. I planned to study but i feel no motivation. This is bad isn't it?

I couldn't blog yesterday due to the terrible internet connection. Wait, there was no internet connection at all, so to speak. Just when I desperately need it. :C Ironic isn't it? When you need something very badly, it's just not there. But when you don't need it, it comes in abundance. Sometimes, I swear, I wonder if God's having a joke with me or something. C: Haha.

Today Mrs Nedu, my class teacher came in yet another dress again. I have to say, I am very much in awe of the size of her wardrobe and the depth of her husband's wallet. Since I entered this school in term 2, I have only seen her in the same dress on two occasion for 3 dresses. Meaning to say, other than 3 dresses on 6 days, other days, she'll be in different dresses. That should make up about 270 dresses per year. *feign horror O____O* My dearest class teacher, you're well on your way to Tinseltown! :]

I participate in the American Maths Competition today and it was like 50-50 for me. I don't really like it but that doesn't mean that I hate it too. Either way, there's a high chance that I might screw it up so let's just leave it at that.

On a totally unrelated note, I think this guy at the hostel is quite cute! C: He's a Korean and he looks really adorable somehow. Perhaps it's the way he dresses? He adds minute but prominent details into his clothes that sets him apart from the crowd. Before you guys thinks I'm heads over heels for him, he's just an eye-candy. A sweet one. As of my relation status, after much consideration and thinking, I think I'm better off single. For the time being. C:

I just got back from Sengkang and I feel exactly as tired as that dog. It was as though life had been sucked out of me. Deliberately. :C And I still have a pile of homework to do. Poor me. Comfort, anyone? No? :C I shall go to a corner and emo while trying to join my index figure like Tamaki.

Just when i need it

Sleep. I need sleep. Based on my priority list, I need sleep badly and I can solemnly tell you that I hadn't been getting more than 6 hours of sleep since the opening of school, with the exception of 2 days which was during the CNY holiday. :C

Life just gets more and more hectic with each day passing and my mind is immediately drawn to the ever so synonym phrase "O levels" that would definitely be found in every mind of students like me. It's rather depressing sometimes because when I'm not studying, I will be thinking "Oh uh, O level's this year." With that, I will reluctantly pick up my pen and start writing with my already worn out hand.

I kept telling myself " It's just for this year. Just a little bit more. Push yourself!". And so I push.

And push.

And push.

And push.

I'm still pushing.

In the midst of this 'pushing', I found my little oasis to keep my sanity. It's surprising that this little thing could do such wonders. It's Silence. I found Peace in Silence. Silence make me feel light and stay encapsulated in my little world even just for a moment. In Silence, I look what ever scenery that I want to see and hear what ever sound that I desire to hear. It's like my own play on stage where I am the producer, director and the actor yet there is a presence that seems to be looking over me. Perhaps what Jason and Aaron said was right. God is with me?

Silence comes to me in brief moments, often at the brink of a breakdown. It teaches me how to hold on and be stronger. It is a never truer friend. A friend in need is a friend indeed. C:

All this sums up to: Less sleep and more work.

Those are the first things that banged into my mind the moment I set foot in Singapore. They literally pulled me from the clouds above where I can still smell the hint of the abalone soup I just had yesterday. Like a magnet that draws one thing to another, the pile of homework keeps getting higher and the to-do list seems unending.

Time is so unforgiving. It would be a miracle if I am able to hand up my homework tomorrow and still not fall asleep in class.

I had the pleasure of watching The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, at least, half of it and I must admit, it was not what I had expected. The dwarf actor that portrayed Benjamin in the first half of the movie was incredible. His decipher of his character was thorough and he could easily bested Brad Pitt who is acting the same character in the second half.

The story, so far, is about a baby who was born with wrinkly skin and the life of an 80 year-old man. Sad? You bet. His dad wanted to throw him into the river but somehow he ended up in an old folks home. A kind woman working in the home took him in and showered him with all the love his parents never gave him. When she first held the baby in the living room to introduce it to the old folks, one of the women commented. "Oh my, he looks just like my dead/ex- husband". It was out of the blue and a light of humour in the hour of bleakness. C: Kind souls. Bless them.

His body's aging process is biologically reversed which means he's growing younger day by day and I'm predicting that he will die a young baby. No, I have not have the opportunity to finish the movie yet. :C But whatever happened to him in the end, he led a full and interesting life.

Imagine if all our biological clocks turn backwards, we'll all be born ugly and die beautiful. Which would mean that we're practically useless our first 10 years on crutches or wheelchair and then spend our remaining lives productively. An 80 year-old lady could might as well be a model. Imagine that. That would be cool, wouldn't it? If I were to born old and ugly and then die young, wow, my obituary would have a really gorgeous picture of me. C: Haha. But wouldn't it make us vain if we were to look so young at such an age? Most probably at that time, people would start making movies about how to STOP Time instead of reversing It to freeze their moment of youth.

Wait, we have Botox.... Guess that movie's not going to be made unless the title were to be "BOTOX".

It's not to late for atonement

It is the Chinese New Year celebration. Sacrificing beauty sleep and comfort, we-which would mean the 5 of us- had a neck-cramming journey to our grandparents' house which starts at 5 pm in the morning. Not that we really care anyway for we were still too dazed at the early hour to feel irritated. We hopped on the car and started off our journey with out maid crammed in you 5 seated car. C: We dropped her off at a toll for our uncle to fetch her to our grandparent's house. After she car-pooled at my uncle's car, we had more space and thus started our sleeping.... uh adventure?. C: That's the best time to travel honestly, with the sky still dark and the sun not up yet. I couldn't guarantee that I didn't snore but I am darn right Gie Mei slept with her mouth dangling open. I laid my head on my brother's shoulder and sometimes on the car's window's pane. Yeah, I can't believe I'm actually sleeping on his shoulder. He's grown so much already! At that moment, I wish time wouldn't pass so fast.It's making me nervous to think that at the next moment I could be in the examination hall doing my O level's papers. Let's stop at that and not spoil the CNY mood that i've been trying to keep up.C:

We stopped at Bidor and dined at a kopitiam. We ordered our must-eat-everytime-we-come-back-to-Ipoh Wantan noodles. And......... waited for 45 minutes for our 5 plate of noodle which we chow down in 5 minutes. No kidding! And kids don't try this at home. Warning: Choking Hazard.

When we reached our destination, the sight of my grandparents, especially my grandmother, made my heart skipped a beat. She looked so pale and sick with heavy eye bags which I later described her as an "albino needing sleep badly" to my cousin. It really rend my heart looking at her so frail. I hugged her lightly but my heart felt as heavy as lead. Tears threatened to flow out at that frozen moment.

We out everything from the car and placed them in our designated room.After that, I went to help out at the kitchen. My mum made me peel the potatoes and there I sat for 40 minutes *could be longer*. When my grandmother came to offer her help, all the women in the kitchen told her to not move around so much as her feet is swollen. It didn't made her feel any better when my mum asked her to peel potatoes with me at the dining hall. My grandmother needs to move around and feel useful. Right now she's feeling really useless and it's pulling her down. I told my mother about it but she said my granny has to get use to it in the future. I kept my silence at the truth of my mum's words but wouldn't allow myself to think more than that.

Perhaps to justify herself, she decided to test the water and guess what she did? She took the bike's keys and jab it into the initiator. My heart was beating wildly against my chest at that time. But my uncles and aunts were all calm. My head screamed " WHY AREN'T THEY DOING ANYTHING TO STOP HER?!?!" but no words came out. I rushed to my mum and told her that but she brushed me off lightly and told me to ask my dad to advise her. By the time I went to dad, she had already taken off, with the reason she's wants to buy something. I wasn't going to buy that and I didn't.

The time waiting for her to come back felt like light years. When the sound of her bike hit my eardrums, I felt as though the room had been lit up brighter and the birds had just started to sing again. Now i've learned how people felt like while waiting for someone you love to come back. Although I do not prefer it this way which concerns my grandmother.

I had a very deep conversation with my cousin, Bell. We concluded that we see our friends differently now. We both get pissed off when we hear our friends cursing their parents for being annoying and in some extreme cases " My mum's a bitch" or " My dad's a real asshole". It pains us to hear those words even if they do not concern us. There are MILLIONS of orphans out there,people! AND YOU HAVE BOTH YOUR DADDY AND MUMMY THAT DOTES ON YOU! IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP! Gosh it's been ages since I last posted. But I. DON'T. CARE! ♥

Ly-En had been providing me daily entertainment. Yee Jia had been injecting healthy doses of Phineas and Fern into me. Thu.... well, Thu is just Thu. Thank the Gods above. I do not know since when, but Albertus started to hang out more than usual with us now. He's part of the crap but awesome group. Cheers!

By the way, Mum said if I dropped 1 or 2 sizes, I get to revamp my wardrobe! But apparently my gicabirdle said I CMI which pissed me off a bit. Albert, you better watch your back, I'll always just a shadow away. *sweetest smile*

Hmm, today i'll post a bit. Nothing much happened. Well, I had Chemistry test today. I think i can pass but to attain high scores is another question. Today could be the one of the best day ever. I finally did something that I never thought I would do. I finally got a haircut that I want. A haircut that i like. A haircut that I love. And most importantly, a haircut that I designed myself. You might wonder how in the world did I suddenly get myself a haircut.

Chronologically:-

1. The Awesome Asshole was having a dilemma on whether to get her hair cut yesterday.

2. She was still in dilemma the next morning when we got to school.

3 I made a on-the-spot decision, "Okay, why not I go cut with you?"

4 Lydia a.ka Chad was waiting for us at Clementi Central.

5. We went into the shop. Its one of those $10 for 10 minutes per haircut.

6. The hairdresser starts to cut my hair and also Ly-en's hair.

That's how its happened. Its was a spur on the moment. I didn't tell my mum about it....yet. *cheeky* Well, I couldn't fathom what she might say if I told her that i had just gotten myself a haircut.

After the haircut, we -me.ly-en.lydia.yee jia*she tagged along*- hovered around the area to hunt for hair wax. Me and Ly-en will learn how to style our hair from Lydia. Woohoo~ I just love my hair. My hair looks cool right? Right? Right? Right? Say YES! :)

Ly-en's hair is really cute! She has few locks of hair pointing out on her crown. She was wearing yellow too. She was a perfect picture of a Tweety Bird! Credits to Yee Jia.

The Awesome One Turned 16

Chin Ly-en, the asshole next door, safely celebrated her 16th birthday today. With blurry and droopy eyes, she had a dumb smile plastered across her face when i greeted her "Happy Birthday" in the morning. As expected from the princess, she couldn't wake up even when her alarm clock screeched and scream for 5 minutes continuously. Extraordinary ears.

There you go. That's the birthday girl.

We managed to reach school. It's still a wonder to me on how we had not gotten late to school before.

Reaching school, everyone started throwing wishes at her. The spotlight is on you, dear.

To Ly-en the Asshole,

As your good and faithful roomie, I would like to thank you for all the sarcasm that coloured my daily life. Your undoubtedly perfect pitched singing *ahem* that bamboozled gracefully through my eardrums had constantly "entertain" me to no ends. Although i know that you have a fetish on me, but i shall take this opportunity to appreciate your undivided love for me. Yep, i know you do love me. As of the good supply of DVDs, thanks for the awesome videos. We both love the phrase "Who's calling at this ungodly hour?" and never fail to laugh on it. Lastly, I know I always deny that I miss you when the holidays. Well, when i say "I don't miss you", well you just keep in mind that i always mean the opposite. Okay? Despite all the torture you put me through- that includes your singing, calling me fat, and so on- you now know i love you too. ♥

Okay i'm not repeating that anymore. So don't get too smug. Hehe.

Kuala Lumpur was where I spent most of my day today. It’s kind of general, isn’t it? Anyway, to be exact we went to Suria KLCC at first. After a agitating journey to the ever- famous twin towers, we went parking hunting. It’s was not long before we found a parking space. It’s Mum’s super powers again. Let me tell you something about my family.

1. 1. Dad never drives the car when looking for a car park. Reason? Look at number 2.

2. 2. Mum always finds a car park in 10 minutes. J

So we travelled on the escalator and went up and up and up to the ever- the- same Petrosains. Mum wanted to show our Singaporean visitors Petrosains. However luck was not with us today as the ticketing counter was overflowing with people too. We were told that, to enter the centre, we would have to go in at 2 pm. Mum went berserk. “HAR?! Pukul dua baru boleh masuk?!?!” said Mum, her big dolly eyes bulged with surprise. She reluctant to leave the place at first but relented in the end. So we got out of the building to the green park through the Suria KLCC entrance. Upon exiting the building, we were greeted by a man made lake with fancy displays of fountains. We did the usual stuff. Snap photographs and commenting on the place.

We, the youngsters were getting impatient. Mum, being the sensitive one, suggested that we all go to Times Square that moment. I rejoiced at the proposition. J It has been ages since I last went to a theme park. We drove there. Wait, I mean Mum drove us there! *we’re underage, so we don’t have license yet* Anyway, when we reached there, we realized that our tummies were growling in protest. We went around fishing for food before agreeing to eat pizza at Papa John’s. My, it was scrumptious! The spaghetti was so cheesy and creamy that the feeling lingered in my mouth after each spoon. J Pizza was nice. Compared to Pizza Hut, this is awesome. No oil in the pan and no fatty essence oozing out of the pizza.

Went up to the theme park. Bought the tickets and went in. I was immediately disappointed as the cashier told me that the DNA Mixer is closed for maintenance. Sigh, I came all the way for that damned ride!

We took the opportunity to take a ride on one of the amusement attraction, something that resembled a wave that goes round and round and round, as our appetizer. Maybe it should be called “Merry- Go- Wave”. J Right after we got off the ride, the visitors that we brought along (my Mum’s friend and her two sons from Singapore) had rather funny response towards the ride. The lady was so nauseous that she went to throw up in the next 5 minutes when I and her two sons went for another ride. This time, the structure of the amusement ride is a very tall pillar, which has four extensions attached to it. A circle of seats is attached to the four extensions. The circles of seats will then spin while the four extensions will revolve around the pillar meanwhile going high up at the same time. It was quite an exhilarating ride. J

We tried out other rides too. Everyone was too chicken to accompany for the roller- coaster, which was the theme park’s main attraction. They freaked out at the sight of people screaming in fear, L which pissed me off. In the end I took the ride myself. The man sitting next to me was really nice. He told me to just relax and the ride would be over very soon. Boy, it was so awesome! I screamed a bit here and there through out the ride.

After a while, we went out of the theme park and met up with our parents and drove back home. We had a hearty dinner and went home. I suppose that summed up my day.

The Scar in the Record

L Now I really got a B3. This time its English. The English paper is divided into 2 sections, part 1 and part 2. For Part 1 I didn’t not enjoy the process of writing the essay * I had chosen to write about the pros and cons of studying overseas* but I scored quite a high score for it. That surprised me a lot! I did not expect myself to get 23 out of 30 because I was expecting a much lower mark.

However, I wasn’t quite happy with my part 2. I did enjoy the process of writing the letter but somehow I did not score well. I had only gotten myself an 18 out of 30. The marks shocked me a bit. I could have sworn that I felt myself shivering and tears welling in my eyes when I saw the score.

Every downside has its bright side, just like there is a silver lining in the cloud. This time’s failure will be my motivation to strive harder and get better marks in the next test. I will certainly work hard and get at least 25 marks the next exam. Just wait and see. J

I had just came back from my CCA, so I am going to take a shower now and have dinner.

I am such a newb. Sigh.

I got actually got an ‘A’ for my Combined Humanities! J The awesome part about this is the present my teacher gave me.

A free movie coupon to watch movies at the Golden Village!

How cool is that?! I was ecstatic to get the ticket. Well Wei Cong*he gave me an iPod! because he got himself an iPod touch* got the ticket too. He really did put in a lot of effort I think. After all, I do not think that a person coming from China is able to cope as well in studies as him. Boy, you deserved it! J

Classes were mundane today. During Chemistry, Mr Chan - the teacher who walks with his mouth open- shuffled our seats. I ended up sitting with Shu Yan, my fellow Malaysian J. He was the one that got the highest score for Physics. Ah, patriotism! Anyway, this time we learned about the periodic table. I didn’t listen to his speech nor did Shu Yan and Wei Cong. Haha! Rebellious as we may be, we did all the work he gave us which was drawing the valence electrons for the first 20 elements in the periodic table. In the end I think my atoms looked like chocolate cookies!

Drama unfolded during Elementary Mathematics class. We unleashed the beast in our teacher, Ms Portia. Due to some ‘good’ students *lets not reveal their name*, she hurled a serious tantrum at us. Those who did not bring their worksheets, assignments and textbook were ordered to stand at the back of the class. They were fined $2 for each stuff that they didn’t bring. Sigh, I wonder why all the teacher has the urge to fine the students. As a Malaysian, I feel that the amount of fine they impose on us was very hefty. You can’t blame me. Everything here cost double/ 2.4 of Malaysian Ringgit. Back to the drama, she then upturned the student’s table *the she-hulk* and threw all their papers and folders on the floors. I looked around the class, and I was slightly amused despite the intensity in the atmosphere. Most of the students sitting at their seats were international students, like me. J Call us good students!

Physics was hard for me today. I got confused over the new topic : Current of Electricity. I somehow screwed all the formulas and struggled through the questions. Sigh, during study time, I must revise!

I had just got back from school. Ly-en won’t come back until around 5 o’clock. Cannot eat pasta with her. L

Ah well, I’ll take a bath now. Till the next post!

Exam's Dilemma

First of all, I would like to apologize for not posting for one month.I had important exams. >.<

Speaking about exams,I didn't do so well this time round.The syllabus was so different from the Malaysian format!In Malaysia, I can score with flying colours with my eyes closed!That is how hard is it. For English so far.

I am in the 3rd class. And the 2^nd class only have 5 passes for English!Only 5! Imagine my horror.If the 2^nd class did so badly, could we, the students in the 3^rd class fare any better?The thought itself is enough to send me into hysterics. *bang head*

I really hope I don’t fail my English. It would be the first time.

But after thinking it over again and talking to Bell, I realized that failing wouldn’t be that bad. After all, by failing I would know where to get the motivation to get back up on my feet and try to attain better results. The prospect of failing doesn’t scare me that much now but tell me, who would choose failure over a pass? So I am keeping my fingers crossed *smirk* J

For Combined humanities, I have got a B3. L Apparently they have a very different marking scheme. If you don’t score an L4/10 for your 5^th paragraph, they wouldn’t bother marking your 6^th paragraph which is the conclusion. Sigh. That was 3 long conclusions I wrote. Al for nothing I suppose. What a waste of hard work! In the end I only got 66 marks.

I did pretty well in my Sciences. I got distinction for my Pure Biology and also my combined Sciences; chemistry and physics. To be honest I was feeling quite contented but I intended to score higher marks in the next exam. As for Mathematics, I vow not to do the same careless mistakes that cost me my full marks.==. In Additional Mathematics, I got every question right. The workings were all perfect. Then when I write the answer down in the lower column, I wrote the equal sign with an extra hyphen.

So the whole equations which was suppose to be like this

became

x-2

I am so pissed! But ah well, I shouldn’t care too much on the past. Life should move on. Must set target and raise the bar. J

Outing at Vivo.

Okay, today there was a cluster outing,

And all of us (there are 15 of us in total) decided to watch movie at Vivo City.

Its aim was to celebrate someone’s birthday.

I came back from school after extra class of elementary mathematics.

Just as I was about to enter the lift,

Ya Wen and her roomie Syafiqah (sorry if I spelled this wrong!)

Just appeared in front of me. J

“Let’s have lunch!” Ya Wen was at all smiles J J J

Haha. So I agreed and the three of us went to canteen together.

We ate and chatted like nobody’s business before Khairul/ Insan joined us.

I think it must have been an hour or so before we decided to head back to the hostel.

Our discussion topics will be our little black secret *smirks*

Me, Thu ( my rommie) and the perasanted Ly-En decided to go to Vivo earlier to do shopping.

The perasanted Ly En wore my black jacket which was given to me by my mum.

"Whoi! That's my jacket!"

Thu wore a blue-stripped polo necked shirt matched with a pair of jeans.

I wore a green sleeveless dress and my new pair of wedges.

We didn’t have anything to do so the most perasanted of all (yeah, that’s you Ly En),

After around 10 minutes of wait,

The bus finally arrived.

Boy, the ride was bumpy!

It felt like I am on a roller coaster…..

Which with constant bump, made me fell asleep.

We reached Vivo around 5 o’clock.

The first shop we entered was a apparel shop called Designed.

The perasanted girl loved the shop.

Me and Thu just shook our head.

Then we went into a cosmetic shop called ‘Make Up Forever’ or (something like that).

We tested the stuff there.

There was a bright blue mascara, a pink one, a purple one and also some absurdly detailed eyelashes made of dyed feathers.

It’s some make up stuff from the runways I suppose.

Still, imagine five humungous feathers sticking out of your eyes,

And how much energy is wasted just to bat your eyelid.

Energy wastage.

C’mon we should save the world by conserving energy.

Wait, I am off the topic. LOL

Okay so me and The Perasanted decided to try out some of the cosmetic there.

But I think she didn’t hear me.

Anyway I tried on the white eyeliner.

I like it but I think the price love me more.

That teeny little pencil cost $41!

We were so quite all of a sudden.

We sneaked out of the shop on our toes.

Yeah like how the cartoon did.

Then we went to yet another cosmetic shop.

This time I bought myself a lipgloss.

It sure burnt a hole through my pocket. *teary*

We had enough of cosmetic,

So we went into Topshop to er..

Ogle at the lacy and obscene undergarments?

Lol I am just kidding.

We’re still innocent J right right?

Anyway there wasn’t any nice hat there so we went to Forever 21.

There was a plethora of hats!

Next up was a visit to Guardian.

It was about 6.30 p.m at that time.

We were starting to feel bored.

So we started walking then…

Lo and behold!

There’s the Godiva chocolate shop right in front of us!

( Did I forget to mention that the three of us are chocoholics?)

Temptation empowered us,

So we bought a Chocolate drink which cost $10!

The perasanted Ly En wanted to go to the top floor to look around,

So Thu and I became her stooge and thus,

Began thus journey to the top floor! LOL

The best part,we were greeted by the drizzling rain. ==.

We were worried the other’s will not make it,

so we called our Cluster IC and the rest of them had just got on the bus!

Its was about 7.15 pm at that time and the movie was to start at 7.30!

The three of us rushed to the cinema and bought 4 large box of popcorns.

Ly En kept popping the popcorns into her widely opened mouth. J

I listened to music on Ly En’s iPod.

Then they finally arrived.

We went into the auditorium.

The movie was just about to finish it’s advertisments.

So we just watch the whole movie.

By the way it’s “Brides’ War”.

It’s another Anne Hathaway movie.

I still prefer Get Smart but this is okay I guess.

Then me and Ly En took an MRT back to Clementi and took a bus back to the hostel.

Upon reaching there,

Wardah, Chang Yoon, Ya Wen and Khairul were storming away with the instruments.

We went back to our room at 11.00p.m.

Oh, it’s such a busy day!

Today I went back to my hometown in Perak.

We departed at around 12 p.m,

With our car loaded with tons of stuff.

I think the amount of food stored in the car boot,

Is enough to feed us for I think 1 week?

Or perhaps 10 days? LOL

Anyway the journey was rather tiring,

As there was traffic jams.

I don’t know if this is normal,

But I think I am experiencing “car sick”.

I feel very dizzy whenever I am in a car.

I think its because in Singapore I rarely sit in a car.

In S’pore, I always walk and take buses and also MRTs to get to places.

So this sensation is a bit new to me.

In fact I find it a bit hilarious,

Because I can’t swallow the fact that I have been traveling in cars for the past 14 years!

And now I am actually resisting it. J

Hehe^^

Half way through the journey,

We stopped at the rest houses.

At Tapah, I threw up all the food I consumed during lunch.

Let’s not describe it for appetite reasons.

Then I had ice cream in Baskin Robbins!

I took Mango flavor.

The person at the counter was very nice.

He actually gave us really big scoops! J

We proceeded with our trip and we reached around 6 p.m.

There is no 3G here! ==.

Can you believe it?

My brother was like “This is the first time Celcom actually failed me!”

After unpacking our bags,

I just slumped on the bed and fell asleep.

Later we went out for dinner.

I suppose Dad was too hungry,

That he was finding every dish of food that came out of the kitchen “Looks good!”

After dinner, we came back to find that one of my cousin’s family is already back.

My little cousin – I don’t know what’s his name (I have too many cousins)-

Came running out shouting “Ultraman!”

What a way to welcome us back.

Its’s about 9 p.m now.

My brother’s playing his PS2 again.

Again.

He had already got scolding from Dad for playing before we went out for dinner.

Oh well, its his raging hormones perhaps.

I don’t know who else is coming tonight.

But I hope its Bell a.k.a. Ying Zhi.

Today I went to school to check up on my friends.

I called Egan, Indran, and also Aaron.

But nobody picked up his phone! L

I was wondering if this was a coincidence or what..

Then I decided to give a call to Tanisha.

She picked up the phone,

And she was like “OMG, is this Gie Eng?”

I told her to meet me at the gate in 2 minutes,

And she was shouting on the other end of the phone.

“Two Minutes?!?!? What the?!”.

I just ended the call and soon enough I reached my alma mater.

It hasn’t change much ( I mean c’mon, its only been about 3 months since I last step in to this place),

Just that I have noticed there have been an increase of student intake this year.

Then Priscilla just rushed out of the main gate,

Hugged me tightly followed by Tanisha,

And Nurissa,

And I don’t know who else. LOL.

I met Jayson, Kenji, Jalchin, and also Rishi.

Rishi nearly couldn’t recognize me!

That’s why he noticed my height as the difference.

Yay I grew taller!

At night my siblings were glued to my laptop again.

This time I let them watch “The Phantom of the Opera”.

Haha^^ this is actually the 4^th time I am watching it.

I even know which line is the character was about to sing. LOL.

I am a huge fan of the movie.

Thanks to Wafa, actually.

It has been such a long time since I last blogged.

By the way, I have finally reached the soil of Malaysia after a long 5-hour trip.

The trip was pretty comfortable because we were all in a coach.

It has a screen at the back of every head seat.

We can actually watch movies and listen to music on the little screen,

But the songs are a bit outdated and old,

So I watch a movie instead.

It’s called “ She’s the Man”.

It’s like the English version of HanaKimi.

But it sure is an entertaining movie.

Though I didn’t manage to finish the movie,

I am planning to get the movie anyway.

Then I watched “The Phantom of The Opera”.

Boy, was it a good show!

Everything is quite original, especially the music.

I think the illogic thing about the whole is

Christine looked too intoxicated and she is very easily intoxicated,

Especially when she’s with the guys (Raoul and the Phantom)

LOL.

I am just commenting it on my own opinion.

But perhaps for someone else it’s perfect.

Oh well, the music is still in my mind now.

It’s one of the most memorable melodies I have heard so far.

I would recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of musical.

Two thumbs up.

By the way in Singapore,

I am staying in a hostel.

The hostel is very cool!

It’s very high tech,

I mean c’mon,

Which boarding school actually needs you to scan fingerprint to enter their premises?

I don’t think you can find a handful.

And one of the best things is that

“WE CAN PLAY Wii!!!”

Isn’t this cool?

I mean this is like a dream place to be.

I have only boarded for about 3 weeks,

But I felt like I have stayed here for months.

I made some great friends here.

One of them is Jung Min.

He’s a Korean and he’s so cheerful (and not to mention chubby)!

I think if I were to give him any nickname,

It would be ‘The Korean Laughing Buddha”

LOL.

Then there’s Ya Wen.

She’s a cool, a bit tomboy-ish person.

Well, she’s a Bruneian.

And she is smart.

I wouldn’t mess with her if I were you.

And I personally think she’s an avid fan of Confucius. XP

She’s always “Confucius say ‘ Why…..’” or “Confucius say ‘ you must…’”…..

She’s unique, no doubt.

But she’s very friendly and I am already missing her now. Ha-ha^^

Next up is Chang Yoon.

He’s also another Korean,

About 6 months younger than me,

But he’s already taller than me.

He’s the total opposite of Jung Min, physically,

But not the way they think.

The both of them are very funny!

That day, Chang Yoon slammed the table hard,

And everyone looked at him.

He slammed again,

And looked at his opened palms in awe,

As if he had just discovered a new super-duper power.

Then he said, “Cool!” with his tinge of Korean accent.

But he and Jung Min always bully me at night when we play football together.

Every time they kick the ball over the goal post,

They will make me go chase of the ball! T.T

But we really had fun together.

Sometimes my ex- roommate, Wardah, joins us.

Then crappier things happen.

I am happy that I met these great friends.

They helped me to settle in faster and easier than I thought.

Thanks a lot!

I guess that’s all. I am very tired now.

I think that trip had fed on my energy too much like a parasite.

Ha-ha.

The Best Surprise

Today i received the best surprise and the best gift.
It can be considered the best-est thing that can happen in my whole life so far.
Really! i'm not kidding and neither am i joking!

This is what happened.

I met up with Wafa, Priscilla and Amanda plus Nigel and Indran at 1U.
Wafa and Amanda were there first.
So i went to meet them at Baskin Robbins.

Then....
...........
..............
....................................

They asked me to close my eyes.
I did as they told.

They brandished a Topshop plastic bag from their bag
And pass it to me.

Amanda: *cheeky smile on her face* You must wear this when you're in S'pore.
Wafa: Definitely!
Amanda: When you wear them you'll remember us.
Wafa: Yeah. We got them from Topshop. Hope you like it. <3

I peeked into the plastic bag.
LO! Its two PANTIES!!!
And what's more they are all printed with hearts!
I was so shocked yet it was so hilarious!
I laughed out loud.
And thanked them for their unique gift.

Cute? X)

We met up with the guys later.

Next we went to the movies after lunch at Charms. :)
We met Egan, Kyle and Rachel Lim.

Talked and bantered.Amanda. She's a sweet girl!

Wafa can't use chopsticks. Seriously. *solemn

Then the 6 of us went to the movies. Watched Madagascar.
Everything was okay. at the beginning of the show, Indran was sitting next to me.
I think he wasted a lot of popcorn on me. He spilled them on my lap. LOL.

The movie was okay but i prefer the first one though.
But it has a nice twist in the story anyway. Melmon the Giraffe confessed his love to Gloria the Hippo. LOL.

Then we split up and walked around the place. We girls went to Forever 21 and also Zara.
Each of us took one piece of cloth and tried.
Amanda took the liberty to try one that looked like a cheongsam.
She tried it on and the front button came off!
She was flabbergasted.
In the end she just told the sales person there was something wrong with the dress.....
.......................... and she got away with it.

I stopped at a CD shop and bought a CD for Indran.
It was meant to be a Christmas present that we both promised to exchange.
He loved it.
I mean, how can he not?
It's a StarWars CD he had been looking for for years.
He gave me huggy. :)

Then we went to Sakae Sushi for dinner. I ordered beef rice. It was nice.
We talked bout everything and pointless stuff. XD

Nigel: What to makan,ya?

After dinner, we walked around. It was about 7 o'clock already.
Somehow we managed to reach SaSa.
All the gals were testing the perfumes on display.
I went out after a while
We were all on the escalator.
Nigel was by my side.
Then he started talking.

Nigel: Did amanda tell you anything?
Me: Yeah. O.o
Nigel: * weird look* what did she tell you?
Me: Erm.. Clothes, fashion, shoes, food, tennis, perfumes...........*drones on*
Nigel: You know, *pauses for a while* I got you the ticket to the tennis match on tuesday.
Me: * too speechless to speak and mouth gaping*
Nigel: *chuckles*
Me: I..... You... ticket... *stutter, can't get the words right*
Nigel: *smiling*
Me: Gee, thank you so much!! * the gratitude speech went on and on*

This is the prized ticket!

Then I walked to Priscilla, Wafa, and Amanda.
I can't hold my tears any longer.
They just flowed down my flushing cheeks.
Before i know it i'm already sobbing and caught in the arms of my friends.
I was really moved. Tell me, any of your friends would actually spend a rm231 ticket on you?
Anyone? No.
I totally love him and Kiwi for this.
(Kiwi shared the money but it was Nigel's idea originally though)

I was really happy that day.
If you ever read this Nigel,
I want you know how happy was I that day.
That was the best gift <3
It was one happy chapter of my life.
Happy to know thatI have met such wonderful friends.
I truly love you guys.

The Calling

I received a letter from Singapore offering a place to study there. And what's more, I am going to there. It's not a full scholarship but its a chance of a lifetime. I get to save up a year's of study. The scholarship allows me to pay the school fees as a citizen of Singapore. I am so mixed up inside that I do not know what words to be used to be used to describe my feelings.

*lots of sighs*

Okay, I feel really depressed because I am going to leave everyone behind especially my parents. And also my friends. I am gonna leave my good buddies like Pheeshelaa, Egan, Aaron, Nigel, Wafa, Amanda, Xin Ling, my hubby, Siew Yee, Siew Ni, Carmen, Jayson, Kiwi, Roy, Samara, Priscilla..... gosh the list is too long. And also my teachers, Ms Eveonne, Ms Rubini, Puan Azila, Mr Faisal, and the list goes on..

But at the same time, I am happy too. I mean I can go to Singapore!

*more sighs*

Nevermind, I can't write anymore. Feelings and mind too clouded.

Boy, she still look like she's in her late 20s.

I missed Pheeshelaa very much,
Lunch and breaks in school is much boring without her laughing,
Or doing something stupid out of the blue.
I can't talk much with her now,
Because she's a prefect,
And we can't get to talk much in class.

Sigh, I understand her duty,
So I am not complaining.

Worries and Comforts

Worries:
1. My piano exam fees is sky high. Its totaled up to a Rm 502.00.
2. My mum is not so well but i believe she's a superwoman.
3. The petrol price plummeted another $120 in the market and its so going to make my life harder.
4. The end year exams are coming.
5. Oceanus will be sold out before i can get my hands on them.
6. I won't be able to talk to Pheeshelaa or Xing Ling that often anymore but I understand.
7. Not enough money to buy tickets for the tennis exhibition match at the end year.
8. My brother might take over my height anytime.
9. I do not know why but i felt like I'm ignoring my crush, ex-crush i suppose, unconsciously. I should do something about it.

Comforts:
1. I'm proud of Egan! *I hope you're reading this, Tigger!
2. I managed to complete one of the three piano exam pieces.
3. My parents gave me more freedom to go the park during the evenings. :)
4. My friends are great!
5. My brother had slimmed down rapidly.
6. The walls in my room are comforting. They listen to my problems and offer me the comfort of silence.
7. Chopin should be given credit too. His music helped me out lots. Especially this few days!
8. I finally get to buy more story books.

Okay, that's the list of my worries and my comforts.
I felt really crabby when I got home.
So i just assume its just the usual mood swings.
Mum was still sick.
God, her tears were even flowing when she's driving.
She needs a flu shot.

Anyway, I was able to go to the park today. :)
I do not know what will happen to me if I had not gone.
I felt really tensed the whole day.
From the moment i opened my eyes till after school.
I have been acting weird in school,
Dazing into the nothingness,
I can't even absorb what Ms. Mariyam was talking.
Even Xing Ling noticed my different behaviour.
I'm sorry Xing Ling, but i can not tell you anything.
I am facing a lot of personal problems that i don't have the guts to tell people,
Even my close friends.

Back to the story,
So I walked to the park,
With my siblings and my dad.
Dad went jogging around the park,
While we played football.
Considering that there wasn't much people at that time,
I went to join the basketball.

We played a game with some guys,
3 of them were really good,
All about 18++,
One of them is quite nice. :)
He's not a sexism,
And he's got a nice smile.
He did a lot of lay ups and slam dunk,
and boy, can he run fast!
One second, he's already at another side of the court.
He is pretty good looking,
I'll give him some credit. :D

After a while,
I went back to the football,
Terence was there too,
I dribbled Andrew,
Gee, you should have heard him swore!
But, sadly, I did not managed to score.
But my moods are so much better now. =)
What a day.

Finally punctured.

My secret is finally punctured.
Guess what?
My crush now know that i had 'feelings' for him.
How good is that?
It was very shocking to discover the truth that he finally knew,
But the fact that he knows now make me feel so bare and vulnerable.

I thank god for His graciousness that my crush,
is still treating me like the usual.
For that, i can not thank him enough.
It wasn't that bad that he finally found,
but there must be a traitor among my friends,
Though I'm not sure of who.

After some mind searching,
I finally decided not to pursue that traitor.
After all, there's no point in confronting him,
as my crush has already know.
Though, i don't really care now. :D
But if i have any more personal secret like this,
I'd wager you that only i will know, not anyone else.
Nobody.
At all.

I had thought of liking him from the back,
And just give up quietly in the end.
Obviously, I didn't manage to do it.
= =

Let me describe how this person is to me.
I think he is good looking, one of its kind,
and he is quite sensitive even if he doesn't shows it.
He's as cool as a cucumber and could beat Zac Efron flat anytime,
and he's is a forgiving person. : )

My feelings for him are kept in minimal,
but with much effort.
I kept my feelings in check,
and not to go over the line.
I had been careful with my feelings,
careful not to spill any clues,
but all it takes was just someone to reveal my secret,
and KA -BOOM,
its out.
*sigh*
Anyway,
i had expected him to run away from me,
or maybe just ignore me,
but he didn't!
He still treat me just the same,
and I'm very thankful.
I sincerely hope that he will get someone better than me.
Honestly. :D

I do like him but i suppose the furthest i can go,
is just maintaining as friends,
which i am happy to be.
I not sure if I'm still so into him,
one thing for sure,
He was my first crush. XD
And he will stay as the first.
Special.

Funny thing is,
I feel relieved.
Although i don't think I have any more secrets,
(bout him , that is),
I felt so light and free.
maybe this thing has been weighing in my chest for too long,
So now,
I'm letting it just to go with the flow.
I do not care what might happen in the future,
but I'm content now.

Funny how puberty change a person.
I have thought I won't have to face this kind of problem,
But now,
it happened.

there's nothing i can do now,
so I'll just sit back and see what will happen next. :D

Sigh, I've been absolutely busy with stuff,
That I did not have the time to update my blog.
Gee, its been a long time isn't it?
I'm sorry!

Basically nothing much have changed.
but, blaming the Ghost festival,
The camp was canceled.
Though, i think it's something good too,
Because I was able to practice the piano for the exam.

I took the exam at Hilton Hotel in PJ.
That examiner had blue eyes!
* smiles
I reckon he's about 40++,
But he's very warm towards me.
The exam went pretty well, thank goodness.

The result just came out,
I scored a 114,
And i'm happy with it. =)
I'm just a bit frustrated,
because the examiner just won't give me,
another 6 marks to get merit.

Oh well, i'm taking grade 6 next year,
So i hope i'll get better marks.

This is too great!
My mum allowed me to go to the camp,
and.............. also shopping!
Yay!!!!
But in exchange to that,
she made me to reveal something to her.
It wasn't exactly the best thing i should do,
but its complicated and she cornered me.
That left me with no choice.

But I'm feeling better now. =)
I can't wait for the camp!!!
It'll be held at Kerak, Pahang.
It's a 3 days 2 nights trip.
God, I hope time will pass faster!

More Apology..

I'm so so so sorry!
I promised that i will blog,
but looks like I've broken my promise..

There wasn't much to blog about anyway..
Yesterday night,
I watched the opening ceremony of Olympics.
God,
I wonder in my mind,
' How much are they spending on this ceremony?'.
This question went jogging round my head,
until i decided I could not estimate the indescribable big amount.

The ceremony kicked off with much style,
not to mention rich in heritage.
Body art has been a trademark of the Chinese.
Therefore I'm not really shocked when some performers,
came out of the darkness started ,
to dance on top of a large paper,
( nearly as large as the badminton court i think).
What really awed me is that,
they are actually painting a scenery while dancing!
Black charcoal ( it could be something else, its just my assumption) were tied to their hands.
Actually, what they did is rather hard to describe,
considering the depth of my vocabulary is still rather low.
Try to watch it on Astro,
And you will get what I'm trying to describe.

The ceremony was an awesome,
until the contingent waving session..
I basically slept through that..
there was 204 contingents!
obviously the largest contingent is from China.
I didn't watch the whole thing.
read some from the newspaper.

That was that.

My school is going to hold a camp for us seniors.
Initially, it costs RM 260.00.
Everyone sort of boycotted it.
Then it went
lower
RM 200
and lower
rm160.

I want to go,
but the camp is held on the second day of the Ghost Festival,
so Dad got superstitious,
and said no.
Mum was a bit kinder,
but this doesn't mean the choices she given are any better.
I planned to do some shopping with my friends,
(all girls for the time being),
to get a new pair of footwear,
accessories,
maybe some clothes.
and others stuff i see on display
that catches my eyes,
and also a present for Matthew. =)

Mum let me choose whether i will go to the camp,
or the shopping spree. =. =
I'm only allowed to choose one of them..

I'm in a dilemma.

Its Sunday,
The birds are chirping and the wind is blowing mildly,
caressing my skin with such light touch,
that it almost made me feel free.

Today, my mum has decided to play badminton,
so we went to the Yonex badminton court,
Near my house.
Invited my dad's family too.
man, that uncle can really play!
I was panting hard,
But he's still standing at the same spot,
smiling at my red face. XD

Played for like 1 and a half hour,
then we went home,
feeling all refreshed and well,
less effervescent but contented.=)

Then mum decide to make dessert,
And i decided to help her out.
See, I'm so helpful.
Sorry, was self praising.

I was helping my mum,
when Matthew suddenly interrupted me,
with a phone call.

Matthew: Hey Gie Eng, what is your shoe size ar?
Me: * puzzled Erm, I don't know. Maybe 7 or 8.
Matthew: How can you not know?
Me: Well.. * stutter stutter
Matthew: Never mind, I'll call you again later.

I wanted to call him,
But my hands are full with glucose.
Plus, I'm helping my mum out,
so I just swallowed my intention,
with a gulp.

Then, my phone rang again,
and the conversation that follows,
is what i call

" whether to laugh or to angry" kind of condition.

Matthew: Hey, Gie Eng. What size do you wear? Your top.
Me: * pulling a weird face on Uh what do you mean?
Matthew: Size A, B, C, or D?
Me: * still not getting it Uhm I don't know.
Matthew: HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW?
Me: Never mind, I'll call you in a bit.

After he had put down the phone,
only i realised how slow witted i was.
=.-" He was asking for my bra size.
My mum was wondering why am i blushing so hotly.
Thanks a lot to you, Matt.
My mum smells that something fishy,
was going on.
Oh, I'm not gonna tell her that.

Later, Matthew told me he bought me a bikini.
A bikini!!!
Man, I mean,
Nobody in their right mind
Would ever buy his friend a bikini!
Gosh, I'm so speechless.

My brother overheard our conversation,
and talked to Matt over the phone.
he told Matt that he would be so happy to,

snap a photo of me in the bikini suit.

Thank god, I called Nigel,

later at night,

he told me,

tat they bought a cap instead. =)

Matthew, you scared me for a bit.

But, it was a good joke,

my brother was rather disappointed at you though, Matt.

I'm Not Effervescent..

Gosh, i woke up with a sore head,
i couldn't open my eyes.
But after a moment talking and persuading myself,
I walked down to have breakfast,
and return to Limbo fueled by a Panadol.

Slept till 11, bathe and went out for lunch,
at the very same restaurant i had,
that weird donkey meat.
We ordered some 'ordinary' dishes,
and Mum said we're coming again at night.XD

Due to my procrastination,
I had 'accidentally' to skip Kumon,
much to my disappointment.
So i got home and practiced at my piano,
for 1 and a half hour,
which past so fast that,
before you could say ' Jack Robinson',
it's over.
Time flew too fast.

I then went to my BM tuition.
My teacher is a total pervert,
sorry I'm just joking.
Still, it's still partially true.
For one, he's always joking about XXX jokes,
and two, he just claims that all this jokes are to 'open' our mind a 'bit'.
Sigh..

The class filled with obscenity lasted,
For a dreading 1 and a half hour long.
Sorry, I'm just exaggerating,
Well, maybe for a 15 minutes here and there.
I wouldn't even join his class,
if it wasn't because that he's a teacher with knowledge.
Sigh..

Later in the evening, we went for dinner,
at the same restaurant.
It was so weird,
I mean I'm going to the same restaurant... again.
Though, the food was scrumptious!
there's that banana wrapped by a slice of ham,
and then is deep fried.
It's so delicious that i do not know how to describe it.
I'm honest!
Never mind, I know the whole ham thing doesn't appeal you,
But, I really enjoyed it.
Immensely. Exotic.

P.S i gave my father 99 folded origami roses on his birthday. He went weepy. <3>

Waxing For Guys.

It's a bizarre day in school.

First, it was rather boring in class,
so I walked to Egan and Indran's table.
I'm happy that they are talking so vibrantly,
Until i found out what a queer topic they're talking a bout.

They were talking about waxing!
What shocked me was,
Egan actually tried to wax Indran's arm,
And Indran was actually co-operating!

Egan: Here's the cellophane tape for the waxing.
Indran: OK, now you do it.
Egan: OK *paste the cellophane tape on to Indran's arm and with one go, he pulled the strip.
Indran: OWWWW!! Man, that hurts.
Egan: *snickering HAHAHAHA
Indran: Stop laughing la.

Egan sounded like sadist,
Only because he's my Tigger,
So i can't say that.
We made a deal. =)

Egan: My "cacat" leg is currently paralyzed.
Me: Do you need me to chop it for you?
Egan:Aww, so caring. You're kind enough to chop off my leg. Thank you so much!

Ok, now back to school.
Erm, it was Friday today.
I decided to sneak out of school,
Together with Kiwi, Egan, and Nigel.
we went to a bakery shop,
to have our lunch.

It was weird,
Kiwi ordered chicken again,
he'll never change,
it's forever chicken.
Egan ordered some tuna thingy,
but he said

"This wasn't what I thought it was" XD

Nigel ordered turkey ham sandwiches,
only to find himself insufficient of food. = =
We had to fish out some money to feed him with cake.

Then, we walked back into Atria.
I wanted to get a book from the book warehouse,
so we walked up.
The boys were walking behind me like bodyguards.
They were tailing behind me,
till i felt so funny that i practically shoo-ed them away.
They didn't really bother with my threat,
But it was a real thanks to Nigel =),
Cause he was bugging the boys to go to the toilet.
Then i had a free reign for a moment or so,
.................. and they're back.

Me: = =" I'm not your parcel.. * irritated grr..

I bought a book,
and it's entitled 'Mayflower'.
It an average book, though.
It was so short that i finished in 30 minutes.
Not exactly indulging.

Well, we walked back to school.
Reached in 10 minutes.
Nigel went back early,
because he's got tuition with Pn. Azizzzza =) and Priscilla.
I played badminton for a while,
but my enjoyment was short lived.
Dad came to pick me up. sigh.

To make my dad compensate,
I bugged my Dad to company me,
to jog in the evening.
It worked.=)

I went to bathe,
and changed into a Chelsea T-shirt,
in order to annoy my already agitated siblings.
(they're MU fans by the way *smirk)

Dad came home as he promised,
and we went to jog.
I think Dad's muscle got rusty,
Because he couldn't even make a 6 round.
Dad, exercise more,
And bring me along! =)

I woke up at 5 today,
my head was pounding,
like a million needle puncturing my brain.
I got off my bed,
walking like a zombie,
dragging my heavy feet away from the tempting bed,
towards the toilet.

I took a bath,
Cleaned up myself,
and went down for breakfast.

Went to school,
was a bit later than Samara,
got up to class, and start our job,
by pasting the borders for the information board.

Then, bell rang.
we went down to line up.
There was a short sketch,
by the Form 1s and 2s,
Entitled........

"Snow White"

With Pheeshelaa, my son,
as the evil Queen.
Holy, my son's wearing a superficial mask,
that has the lips puckered up,
as if she'd kiss someone with that. *eyes rolling
She acted so well,
not to mention b*tchly.
B*itch isn't her nature ,though,
It's just the character she's playing.

Well, Cheetara palyed as Snow White,
Honestly, i admit,
I never really see it coming.
LOL.

Well, back to class.

Everyone was so hyped up to decorate the class,
Mr Chan allowed us to use his period to do so.
But,
But he blamed us for making him use the permanent marker ,
on OUR whiteboard.

Mr Chan: You see, because of your voice, now I've done something stupid.
Class: * stoning* soon sin snickering
Mr Chan: Hiyo, now I've done something stupid, all because your fault la.

=.- haih, when is he gonna change.
Most probably never,
considering his age.

Well, i continued my fruitful effort,

Sleep Deprivation

Today's school was a bore,
in my opinion.

But on the last period,
we got called down to the quadrangle,
By the one and only,
Mr X.
Thinking we're doomed,
we marched down like prisoners.

Turns out we're out for a speech.
Delivered with lots of Malaysian slang,
by a person from the,
department of
Fire Prevention Department or something like that.

She showed us a slide show,
with lots of grueling ' peeled of skin' pics,
honestly,
it was kinda scary.

That's enough i think,
to send shiver down my spine.
Just a reminder though,
NEVER use WATER to put out fire on a person's skin.

In class i annoyed Tania to the extend,
She'll be the most welcome to tell you what i did,
won't you, Tania?
Most probably you would. XD
Two minutes in my company,
She's already puffing out air through her...
Er.... enlarging nostrils?
Well, another 15 minutes in my company,
i bet you,
she'd have foam pouring out of her mouth.

Mrs Eveonne said we have to put up the class deco,
by the next day.
Holy, the class has not done anything yet.
So I sacrificed my beauty sleep,
And stayed up late to do the timetable.

Then i started to do that Geography presentation thingy for tomorrow,
I was searching high and low,
for a good and informative article about the Yellow River in Chine.
Mind you, it was 11.30 at that moment,
and it was super dark.
i can't switch on the lights,
worrying my mum will wake up,
and bulldoze me to bed... again,
with that infamous kick.
The consequences had been known to be disastrous.

So i sneaked up and do as simply as possible.
It was rather a simple matter to get up,
and no worries,
because i can hear my dad snoring deeply in his sleep.
lol.

when I'm done, I decided to call Matthew.
Man, it's bee such a long time since i last chat with him.
What surprise me most is that,
He's actually studying!
I'm like *jaw drop*.
Honestly, it's rather hard to believe,
but I'll swallow the fact.

We talked for like one hour or so,
Then i climbed to my bed,
That's around 12.45,
Then I fall into a sleep,
shrouded by what seemed like,
eternal darkness.

What? More work?!

Today isn't the best day ever,
still bearable.

Yesterday, Ms. Malini recommended me
To participate the Spelling Bee competition,
In conjunction with the English week.
Well, obviously i have no say over the decision,
so i just kept my silence.

Later at night,
I read dictionaries,
ranging from the thickest to the..
semi thick ones.

Then my friend from the the class next door called me,
And we ended up testing each other.
Though i think his sleeping hormones must be kicking in,
Because he was yawning. XD
I bid him goodnight and continued to lit a midnight lamp.

Then i sank into my lovely bed.

The next day, which is today,
i woke up with a sore head.
My brother and sister were already up before me,
to complete the undone homework,
awesomely found by my mother.

I went to school earlier today,
because it was raining.
Mum doesn't want to be caught in a traffic jam.

i reached school,
and jayson came later.
He tested me.

Then assembly started,
with the juniors talking about their teddy bears.
One of them actually talked about her toy monkey!
How adorable!

Then we had that Spelling Bee thingy.
Underdogs(that's us little seniors) vs. Pros (that's you senior 3,4, 5).
It was ok.
Thank god my friend tested me yesterday!
I was able to answer some of the quetions.

I got 2nd,
Tied with a senior 4, Nicole.

Then, for tomorrow,
I have to do an oral exam, again.
Hiyo, so susah la.

But my friend next door is experiencing a far worse luck.
He's got a BM oral exam,
a science presentation,
and an English oral test too.

Comparing the both of us,
ah.. i pity him.

Gambateh! *it means good luck btw.

Oh, yesterday, my aunt from New Zealand called.
She'll be coming to my house next month,
and we'll be going to Penand together.
I'm looking forward to her visit.

It's Sunday today,
My parents are taking us out again,
I don't know what the place is called,
But if i must translate it from Chinese,
it means 'Cow Car Water'. LOL
I think its somewhere near Kelana Jaya.

The place is something like a cross section,
Of Petaling Street and Sungai Wang.
It's windy there, though.
Most probably because it's about to rain.

My brother got a haircut,
But i don't think it looked any different. XD
Sorry, bro!
I think its not worth your RM15.

We had lunch at a food a stall.
My parents and my sister each ordered a plate of fried kuay teow,
While i ordered a ....
Claypot noodles?
I was immensely horrified,
As i observe the hawker cook my food.
He practically poured two big tablespoon,
2 BIG TABLESPOON,
Straight into my food!

Holy, the food was extremely salty.
I couldn't finish it,
My dad being the 'bandar raya',
Offered to finish it for me.
Aww, that's so kind but no.
I wouldn't risk you getting high blood pressure.

Then we went to a dessert stall,
the food's great!
I mean its way better than the noodles i ordered.

Then we went to a clothes store.
I utterly do not know,
What is wrong with my mother.
She's so into dresses now!
She actually bought a bright orange dress!
She claimed she looked young in it.
Well, she asked me to share it with her.
Honestly, i could never understand women,
though i'm going to be one soon. XP

After walking around,
we decided to go back home.

School's starting again tomorrow.
Got to pack up my stuff.

Wierd day

Yesterday was a queer,
but nice day.

First my mum told me,
The world is going to end soon. 20th of December 2012. (*gasps! so soon?!*)
The message is told in a story form in a website about the Mayans.

A farmer was a bout to slaughter a pig,
then lo and behold!
The pig talked.

Pig: Don't kill me, dear farmer.
Farmer: *too shocked to speak*
Pig: Now listen carefully.
Farmer: *nods and nods his head furiously*
Pig: In the year of 2007, I'm the most expensive in the market. In 2008, the rice will be the most expensive in the market. in 2009, there will be houses but no people in them.

Wonder what's gonnna happen.
I was shocked,
because everything the pig claimed had came true!
Mind you, that article was written few years back.

Then there's another passage in the article.

no, not a pig this time.
A cow.

Cow: Don't kill me, dear farmer.
Farmer: *biting his tongue*

I mean, China did construct a stadium for the Olympics,

My mum told me that when she picked me up from tuition.
After tuition,
we went to Sunway Pyramid.
I wore my green dress,
matched with a pair of green sandals.
My brother thought I was campaigning
For 'Save our Mother Earth".
You know, i kind of agree with him.

As usual, it's crowded.
we blended in to the masses of people.
I wanted to get myself a Rubik's cube,
but there's no Toys' R Us here. =.=
So I bought a 'pirated' one at some mini stall,
only costed me RM3. >.<

Then i bought a ...
I dunno what to call it,
But it looks like this.

I saw a watch on sale,
But it was pink!
I don't hate pink,
but i just never got really well with pink.
I mean, I'm more to dark and 'warmer' colours.
Like black, green, blue, yellow, red and uh... purple?

Victoria's secret is out-Queen's undies show that she had 50-inch waist!

That was the title.
God, and she's barely 150 cm tall!
Doesn't she goes for exercise?

Bored To Death

This is SO WRONG!
I contributed an article to the school newsletter,
and I suppose there's nothing wrong with that,
Until i looked down at my name.

The trip was extremely boring,
so boring that I'd rather hear Pheeshelaa sing some nursery rhymes.
What fun is there,
when I've visited it like 5 times.
The trip was free,
so obviously the targeted destination wasn't any better.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind,
even if i had to fish out some money,
just to go to a better place.
I mean its such a cliche.

Oh well, not that i care about it now, anyway.

Yesterday,
Mr Xavier gave us a three periods' speech in the library (a new record!),
Firing away about the school rules,

"you can not do this..."
"you can not do that..."

That is not the end.

He went on babbling away about his history so students he sacked,
students he had suspended,
students he had met at the pirated DVD shop,
bla bla bla....
The list goes on..

We were sitting on the hard tiled floor,
while he talked for the whole time standing.
He was scratching here and there (I'll leave it to your imagination!),
then his balding crown of hair.

Then there's Ms Rubini and Ms Evonne,
sitting there looking at us (and Mr X).
Ms. Rubini's face is so super!
I'll tell you why!
She got the skill of a chameleon!
Her face color changed into a flushing and steaming red!
So geng!
I could never achieve her level of redness!
I bow to you, Ms Rubini (my mumy)!

We were joking about the school's absurdity,
that's because they are actually taking into consideration,
to make us buy socks with the school's badge on it next year!!
Do they need to go to such extend?
Socks?!
Don't make me laugh!

This world is so full of surprises,
that it sometimes comes in a terrible wave of horror.
I'm serious,
No kidding.

Until today i never knew,
what is it like to have a close friend,
having a crush on you.

It's rather hard to accept,
because he's my one of my close friends,
Yeah, if you study in my class,
you'd have guessed who.
there's no need for me to say 'who'.
I had never realized what was going on,
I was that oblivious to the feelings showered on me.
I had always treated him as my friend,
And interpreted his attention to me as 'normal',
until today.

Yes, until today.

Today could have been the darkest day,
darker than black mixing with the colour of coal.
I could not bring myself to talk to him,
Worrying I would freak out,
And as a result,

I swallowed every word that i intended to say.

This is so pathetic.

This is not how this should turn out,
I'm like running away from him,
an escapist.
